Having passed the wretched Motorbike test I thought there was some potential to expand my writtings into the world of Motorbikes but did not wish to swamp the other blog with too much two wheeled stuff which will reside here. It also allows all links and stories to be a bit more focussed than they are on the other side, well, we shall see.
The current focus of my attention is the little tinker shown above. I was particularly pleased to discover this evening that he can be insured for around £250 which given no riding experience and no NCB is really quite reasonable; one of the perks of being ancient I suppose. If you are interested in checking them out the qout was from Gemstone who are the prefered insurer of recently retired Policemen apparently! If they give a good qoute well then who cares. Interestingly a CBF1000 puts the qoute up by £150 which I suspect is at least partly due to the absence of any statistics on which to base the quote as an extra 200cc should be cancelled out by ABS etc one might have thought.
